        CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program

The CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program, a temporary program designed to help California tenants and landlords cover unpaid rent and utilities, will accept applications through March 31, 2022. The application will close on April 1.

The State of California has committed to serve all eligible households who apply by March 31.

The CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program provides up to 18 months of financial assistance to eligible households (landlords may also apply on behalf of tenants).

Please note, even though the housingiskey.com application will close after March 31, all pending applications will continue to be reviewed and processed. Applicants should act as quickly as possible to complete their application and reply to any requested action or response from the Program, in order to avoid processing delays.

San Francisco tenants and landlords in need of additional help, such as application assistance or eviction legal services, may visit the SF Rent Relief Resources webpage for more information.
