The residents at Bayview Commons are comprised of low-income and high-needs clients, with the majority of units slated for Section 8 or Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) subsidy recipients. SFHDC’s supportive service staff provides in-house case-management or refers residents to a full array of partner agencies. All our programs, whether held on- or off-site, promote self-sufficiency and a healthy standard of living. Hundreds of community residents also participate in our monthly calendar of activities, including Karate, Women’s Empowerment, Game Nights and special events. Staff also organizes regular resident meetings and assists the property management company and tenants when there are concerns on either side of the door
