Constanza Asfura-Heim

Chief Real Estate Officer
Constanza has over 20 years of experience in real estate planning and development, impact investing, and affordable housing. Born in Santiago, Chile, Constanza immigrated to the United States when she was three years old.
Prior to joining SFHDC, Constanza participated in the rehabilitation and development of thousands of housing units, commercial retail and office spaces, hotels, and industrial uses.
She began her career at Kamehameha Schools in Hawaii (the largest private landowner in the State of Hawaii).  At Kamehameha Schools, she led the planning and feasibility of several projects within Kamehameha Schools’ $2B real estate portfolio. All real estate transactions were for the sole purpose of generating capital for the education of Native Hawaiian children.
After returning to the mainland, Constanza worked in a family office for a high-net-worth individual who sought double bottom line investment such as affordable housing, highly sustainable net zero buildings, incubators and creative commercial spaces, and other investments that earned both market rate returns and deep social impact.  Most recently, Constanza served as the Vice President of Real Estate development where she lead a team dedicated to building affordable homeownership opportunities in San Francisco, Marin, and San Mateo counties.
In her spare time Constanza enjoys reading, walking her dog, investing, cooking, yoga and enjoying time with friends and family.
